Key Responsibilities

As a Board-Certified Physical Therapist at Dynamic Care Psychotherapy, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Implementing therapeutic exercises and educating patients on proper techniques to ensure safe and effective recovery.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques such as massage to stimulate healing and rehabilitation.
• Guiding patients in the use and adaptation of mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining detailed patient records, tracking progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Advising patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises to further support recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children to elderly individuals, each presenting unique physical challenges and rehabilitation needs. You will collaborate closely with patients who may have experienced strokes, sports injuries, surgical recoveries, chronic pain conditions, and developmental disabilities. Your expertise and empathy will play a critical role in helping patients navigate their rehabilitation journeys and achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of California.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational and word processing skills for proficient documentation and reporting.
• A flexible and agile mindset, allowing for adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience in the field of physical therapy, particularly within a rehabilitation or multidisciplinary setting. Compensation and Benefits
