Work Environment

This onsite role will place you within a vibrant and supportive rehabilitation environment that prioritizes both staff and patient wellness. You will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom share a steadfast commitment to providing top-notch care. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Lakeportside, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual goals, needs, and impairments.
• Managing an average caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring efficient, quality care for each individual.
• Developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Delivering cost-effective therapy interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, flexibility, strength, and overall physical health.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise regimen development to enhance patient outcomes.
• Monitoring patient progress and treatment efficacy through consistent assessment and documentation.
• Encouraging lifestyle changes through education on wellness, nutrition, and physical activity.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal recovery pathways.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in EMR systems like WebPT.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes post-surgical patients, individuals recovering from injuries, and those needing assistance with chronic pain conditions. You will engage directly with patients of all ages, supporting their journey towards regaining their independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

The position requires the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean record free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients quickly.
• Competence in utilizing EMR systems to document patient treatment accurately.

Preferred Experience

The following experience is preferred but not necessary for application:

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, specifically focusing on rehabilitation.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and functional mobility assessment.
• Background in developing customized exercise regimens tailored to varying patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills.
