Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist, you will work onsite, providing hands-on care in a well-equipped therapy facility. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. You will have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources necessary to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific goals and requirements, devising tailored treatment plans that promote optimal recovery.
• Manage a diverse caseload efficiently, typically treating one patient per hour to ensure personalized and focused attention.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation to implement evidence-based interventions aimed at restoring mobility, enhancing strength, and reducing pain.
• Design and execute individualized fitness and wellness programs that address each patient's unique needs and objectives.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, to facilitate communication among the healthcare team.
• Evaluate patient progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve the desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure well-rounded patient care.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthy lifestyle changes, promoting strength, flexibility, balance, and overall physical fitness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your compassionate approach will be essential in motivating patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, as many will be eager to return to their daily activities and recreational pursuits. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Strong manual therapy skills, with a keen understanding of techniques applicable to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to develop and implement exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for documentation and patient management.
