Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, taking into account their medical history and individual circumstances to tailor effective treatment plans.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques combined with therapeutic exercise regimens to improve patient mobility and function, ensuring safe and progressive rehabilitation.
• Provide education and guidance on injury prevention strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and lifestyle modifications to empower patients in their recovery processes.
• Regularly update patient records to reflect progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, using electronic health record systems to ensure seamless communication.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss patient needs and progress, fostering a team-oriented approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily focus on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including sports injuries, joint replacements, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes to elderly patients, all seeking to regain their physical capabilities and improve their overall health. Your ability to connect with patients and customize your approach will enhance their recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active California state Physical Therapy license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
• Current CPR certification.

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
