As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will lead and implement comprehensive rehabilitation protocols, focusing on tailored patient care and recovery strategies.

Our state-of-the-art 5,000 square feet sports medicine facility is well-equipped with the latest technology to support a diverse range of treatment methodologies. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care predominantly to patients with private medical insurance. Being a practice owned by physical therapists, our approach centers on personalized care, state-of-the-art treatments, and a collaborative environment.

Work Environment

Your role will take place onsite in our sophisticated rehabilitation facility, where our team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) work together to create a positive and energetic atmosphere. Our clinic design fosters teamwork and patient engagement, encouraging relationships built on trust and a shared dedication to patient success. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient evaluations to identify and document individual goals and needs.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring each patient receives one-on-one care and treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs that promote optimal movement and functionality.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery and pain management.
• Document patient progress and outcomes meticulously, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and reporting standards.
• Educate patients on ongoing health management and prevention strategies, emphasizing the importance of lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and optimize treatment plans.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient feedback and observable outcomes.
• Foster positive relationships with patients, motivating them throughout their treatment journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, or injuries, each with unique therapeutic requirements. You will be instrumental in guiding these patients from initial assessment through their recovery process, employing proactive strategies to minimize reliance on medication and invasive techniques.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid California licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation for orthopedic patients.
• Strong skills in developing exercise protocols tailored to specific patient needs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and motivate patients and staff alike.
• Prior experience with fitness and wellness program development is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
