Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant city of Long Beach. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings.
• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique physical needs of each patient, demonstrating a variety of modalities and techniques.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Regularly engage with patients to educate them on their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate continuously with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each patient's continuum of care.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in community outreach programs and engage in continuing education to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will predominantly consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The diverse clientele spans all age groups, and you will be required to adapt your approach to meet the varied needs of each patient. Your role will not only focus on physical rehabilitation but also on providing emotional support and motivation to help patients through their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent, with a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic practices.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in computer-based documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred, although recent graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. Additional certifications in specialized areas such as sports therapy, manual therapy, or geriatric care will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
