Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our well-equipped outpatient office in Long Beach, a vibrant community with a commitment to health and wellness. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, receiving ample support from a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize a blend of evidence-based practices including exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to alleviate pain and restore function.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment protocols, and provide training on the use of any assistive devices.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and support all aspects of the rehabilitation process.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will work primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and degenerative conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Our diverse patient base includes individuals ranging from active adults to older adults facing mobility challenges. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life by providing personalized therapy rooted in clinical best practices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in California.

Compensation and Benefits
