Work Environment

In this position, you will primarily work onsite within the patients' homes, embracing a home care setting that allows for personalized interactions and uninterrupted patient engagement. From Monday to Friday, your schedule will involve direct contact with patients, assessing their environments, and applying therapeutic techniques that cater to individual rehabilitation goals. Key Responsibilities

• Administer personalized physical therapy interventions designed to prevent disability and enhance muscle functionality, adhering closely to individualized care plans.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with established treatment protocols and quality of care standards.
• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and needs within their home environments.
• Evaluate and recommend modifications to home settings to promote patient independence during rehabilitation.
• Deliver an array of home-based physical therapy services, including therapeutic exercises and modalities such as manually facilitated activities, traction, and soft tissue mobilization.
• Evaluate and adjust the use of prosthetics and orthotics, providing recommendations for necessary modifications to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage in the collaborative development and periodic review of care plans, integrating feedback from interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely submission of records that reflect patients' progress and treatment adjustments.
• Educate patients and their families on effective use and care of therapy devices, enabling them to engage fully in their treatment plans.
• Conduct functional assessments and provide insights on community resources to support patients' return to optimal function.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients receiving in-home care, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, suffering from chronic pain syndromes, or facing mobility challenges due to age-related conditions. Each patient requires a tailored approach, considering their unique circumstances, backgrounds, and rehabilitation goals. Your role will be pivotal in fostering independence and improving the patients' quality of life, making compassionate care a cornerstone of your practice.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active physical therapy licensure in California.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license along with automobile insurance.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, ethical practice, and delivering high-quality patient care.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• An understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements relevant to home healthcare settings.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and contributions, Body Orthopedic Pain Management, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year , along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
