Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that enrich the curriculum. Support students in developing their critical thinking and analytical skills through discussions and written assignments. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Requirements Bachelor's degree Valid state teaching license or willing to obtain Proven experience teaching English at the high school level is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of literature, writing techniques, and language arts pedagogy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and foster a supportive learning environment. Ability to differentiate instruction and accommodate diverse learning styles and needs. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
