We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team at Prospect Heights Middle as a full-time Math Teacher. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a growth mindset.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the math curriculum and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
- Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Support and participate in school-wide initiatives and activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for middle school level or willing to obtain.
- Strong knowledge of math concepts and pedagogy.
- Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Proficient in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
