Teacher - Grade 3

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team at Orange Elementary as a Grade 3 Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment, encouraging students to develop a love for learning while meeting the diverse needs of each child. This full-time position requires a commitment to academic excellence, collaboration with colleagues, and active involvement in the school community.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and academic progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
- Foster a love for reading and writing through engaging literacy activities and programs.
- Manage classroom behavior and implement school-wide policies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Support and encourage students in their social and emotional development, promoting positive relationships among peers.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and committees to contribute to the overall success of the school community.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid teaching license or willing to obtain.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly in Grade 3 or a similar setting, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development and effective teaching strategies for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in using technology for instruction and classroom management.
