Account Manager, Supply (Marketplace Ops + Revenue) High-Ownership Operator Role | Startup Pace | Real Revenue Impact San Francisco | Jackson Square Compensation - $125,000 - $225,000 The client is looking for an entrepreneurial operator to help build and scale a world-class portfolio of recruiting firms on a fast-growing two-sided marketplace. This is not a traditional customer success role. This is a revenue-owning, high-stakes operator seat at the center of a rapidly scaling platform. You'll act as a trusted advisor to elite recruiting firm owners-helping them grow revenue, improve operations, and win more consistently. You'll also help design the systems, incentives, and workflows that power the supply side of the marketplace. If you're looking for comfort or predictability, this won't be the right fit. If you want ownership, speed, and outsized impact, keep reading. Real Revenue on the Line The firms you manage drive hundreds of thousands of dollars in GMV. Your decisions directly impact revenue, liquidity, and marketplace performance. Operator > Support You're not just reacting to issues-you're diagnosing bottlenecks, building systems, and driving measurable outcomes. True Cross-Functionality You'll sit at the intersection of operations, product, and GTM, turning daily market insights into internal tools, workflows, and product improvements. Future-Founder Training Ground Similar to early driver or merchant ops teams at top marketplaces, you'll learn how to scale a supply network from 0→1 and beyond. - Advise top recruiting firm owners on growth strategy and operational excellence
- Act as a trusted partner with real accountability for outcomes
- Identify friction points across onboarding, activation, and retention
- Design systems that help partners perform at a higher level
- Test incentives, workflows, and automations
- Improve liquidity, engagement, and revenue efficiency
- Translate frontline insights into internal tools and product enhancements
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams
- 2-8 years working closely with customers while owning revenue execution
- Experience in account management, post-sales, or startup operations
- Has carried a revenue target (not just retention metrics)
- Background at Series A through pre-IPO startups
- Experience within a high-performance, respected organization
- Top university or top GPA
- Highly motivated, competitive, and self-directed
- Comfortable with ambiguity and accountability
- Strong communicator with business owners and operators
- Bias toward action, experimentation, and results
- You've done something undeniably exceptional
