Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to identify individual needs and develop customized therapy plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy treatment, using evidence-based techniques to achieve patients' rehabilitation goals effectively.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, assistive devices, and self-care strategies to ensure continuity of care outside of therapy sessions.
• Manage a case load of patients, effectively prioritizing tasks and coordinating treatment plans to enhance the overall patient experience.
• Utilize EMR software for accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of new treatment methodologies and advancements in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility specializes in working with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to adult orthopedic cases. You will collaborate closely with patients recovering from surgeries such as joint replacements, ligament repairs, and other orthopedic conditions, as well as those seeking rehabilitation for injuries or chronic conditions. Our holistic approach prioritizes each patient's physical, emotional, and psychological well-being, ensuring a supportive environment throughout their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing tailored exercise programs.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EMR software such as WebPT.
• Demonstrated ability to engage patients effectively, fostering positive experiences that motivate them throughout their recovery.
• Previous exposure to robotic-assisted rehabilitation practices is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
