Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each client's trauma history and formulate tailored treatment approaches.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Support clients in processing trauma experiences and developing effective coping strategies through dynamic therapeutic discussions.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure a fully integrated approach to client care.

• Respond to crisis situations by delivering timely intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about the nature of trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources for continued support.

• Ensure thorough documentation of all client interactions and maintain confidentiality in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal therapist will work primarily with adults who are survivors of various forms of trauma, including but not limited to physical abuse, emotional neglect, and witnessing violence. Your contribution will play a crucial role in facilitating their recovery through therapeutic support and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we also value candidates who demonstrate a strong knowledge base in trauma-informed care and a history of effectively managing a diverse patient caseload.

Compensation and Benefits\n
