Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and other medical team members to create a seamless integration of mental health treatment across various platforms.

• Deliver in-service training on mental health topics to medical, psychiatric, and security personnel as needed to enhance their understanding and skills in handling mental health challenges.

• Proactively intervene and manage mental health emergencies, using de-escalation techniques to maintain safety and effectiveness in a dynamic environment.

• Attend commitment hearings as necessary to advocate for the needs of patients within the system.

• Develop personalized treatment plans and set achievable goals for individual clients, ensuring that interventions are suited to their specific circumstances.

• Document all patient interactions meticulously to maintain accurate records and facilitate continuity of care.

• Uphold the confidentiality of medical records and protect patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Conduct thorough assessments of past mental health histories, including psychotropic medications, to accurately inform treatment decisions.

• Prepare and submit reports on patient progress and program effectiveness to stakeholders in a timely manner.

• Coordinate with nursing and mental health staff to facilitate healthy transitions and referrals for clients post-release or treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
