Work Environment\n

The position offers a unique hybrid work model that combines the convenience of remote work with opportunities for in-person engagement as needed. Our outpatient office in Hanover Park, Illinois, serves as a collaborative hub for our team. With a focus on work-life balance, counselors can choose from flexible schedules that accommodate their personal needs while ensuring comprehensive client care. Full-time counselors work Monday to Friday during an 8-hour day, while part-time schedules are also available, allowing for shifts from Monday to Saturday based on team demands and individual availability. Importantly, this role does not require weekend work.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs through thorough assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, and families, employing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care encompassing various aspects of clients' wellbeing.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to ethical standards and legal guidelines.

• Engage in professional development opportunities and participate in workshops to stay informed about the latest mental health practices and research developments.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Clinton County Community Therapy Center, you will work with a diverse clientele facing an array of mental health challenges. The patient population varies widely, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, as well as families seeking therapy for improved communication and functionality. Your expertise and personalized approach will be integral in helping clients navigate their unique journeys toward improved mental health and overall wellbeing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.

• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is essential.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
