Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and follow-up evaluations to document clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions and dynamic group therapy sessions for various client demographics.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress to adjust treatment strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure cohesive care for clients with complex needs.

• Manage referrals to external resources, ensuring clients have access to the support they need.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients’ families and caregivers to enhance treatment adherence and community support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes individuals and families coping with a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the State of California.
\n
• A passing score on either the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and compassionately.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients in a virtual environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor within a telehealth setting is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

• Experience in working with diverse populations and understanding culturally competent counseling practices.
\n
• Knowledge of addiction disorders, their treatment, and the interaction of mental health conditions with physical health issues.

• Commitment to staying current with best practices as defined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
