What You'll Be Doing Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and multi-state tax returns Perform tax planning and research for both individual and business clients Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive guidance and identifying tax‑saving opportunities Review financial records and ensure accurate reporting and compliance Manage client relationships and become a key point of contact for assigned accounts Collaborate directly with firm leadership on client strategies and business growth initiatives Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations Support and mentor junior staff as the firm continues to grow What We're Looking For Must-Haves 3+ years of public accounting experience Strong tax preparation and tax review experience Experience with individual, corporate, and partnership returns Ability to work independently while managing multiple client priorities Strong communication and client-management skills Desire to grow with a firm long term Preferred CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification Experience with multi-state returns Experience using QuickBooks and modern tax preparation software Prior experience reviewing work prepared by junior staff Why Trace Accounting?
