Senior Accountant

Overview Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $150,000 per year. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable activities for multiple entities, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and vendor support. Perform bank reconciliations, monitor account activity, and maintain accurate financial records. Coordinate cash management activities by tracking balances, recording transactions, and supporting funding needs. Assist with financial reporting by preparing schedules, cash summaries, and supporting documentation. Maintain organized records, support compliance requirements, and assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed. Requirements 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related financial role. Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including reconciliations, cash management, and financial recordkeeping. Previous experience working with accounting software and financial reporting tools, preferably QuickBooks Online. Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with standard business applications. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across several entities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial and administrative records. Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors, advisors, and internal stakeholders. High level of professionalism with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
