This position is unique as it operates within a fully remote telehealth platform, allowing flexibility for both our counselors and clients. Counselors work from their own home offices or other suitable remote spaces, participating in regular team meetings and consultations via video conferencing.

Key Responsibilities\n

The Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs through virtual consultations.

• Develop individualized therapy plans utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique situations.
\n
• Provide ongoing counseling sessions, ensuring regular communication and monitoring of clients’ progress.

• Utilize telehealth tools effectively to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a supportive online community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans, making referrals as necessary.

• Maintain detailed and accurate client records within our EHR system while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in crisis intervention when required, employing strong skills to de-escalate situations and provide immediate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will work with a diverse clientele facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. This role demands a culturally competent approach, as counselors will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, emphasizing inclusivity and respect in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of Washington as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Experience in delivering therapy that is responsive to the cultural and individual needs of clients.

• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.

• A commitment to maintaining ethical standards, including client confidentiality.
