Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and developmental needs of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and methods.

• Collaboratively formulate and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into account individual patient histories, family dynamics, and developmental stages.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, to address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Engage in crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young patients, and provide immediate support to families.

• Educate children, adolescents, and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources to foster empowerment and understanding.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards, ensuring accurate patient records and effective communication.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to share insights, discuss challenging cases, and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. The diverse patient population will include young individuals from different backgrounds experiencing emotional difficulties related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other behavioral issues. Your role will be vital in shaping their mental health outcomes and supporting families in navigating these challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in social work, mental health counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and specific therapeutic techniques.

• Two years of direct experience in providing mental health services to children and adolescents, with a proven track record of employing adaptive therapeutic approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport and trust with patients and their families in a remote environment.

• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
