Payroll Manager Charlotte, NC Commercial Credit, Inc. (CCI) is the parent Company of Commercial Credit Group, Inc., Commercial Funding Inc. and Keystone Equipment Finance Corp. Through its subsidiaries, CCI does business nationwide, providing secured financing to medium to large businesses and works closely with equipment vendors and manufacturers across the country. Located in Charlotte, NC, CCI's subsidiaries operate in Buffalo, NY, Naperville, IL, Salt Lake City, UT, West Hartford, CT and Hamilton ON. CCI has a Payroll Manager position available in its Charlotte, NC office. This position has visibility and interaction with senior management and offers career advancement. Position Responsibilities:
- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Performs final review on all New Hire, Status Change and Termination files as part of our Payroll controls.
- Track employee leave as relates to payroll.
- Processes stock vesting and grants as they relate to payroll.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors, both internal and external.
- Other duties may be assigned at company's discretion.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of related experience required.
