Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments by utilizing evidence-based methodologies to identify clients' mental health needs, creating personalized treatment plans that reflect solution-focused techniques.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers within the hospice multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration of care and comprehensive support for clients and families.

• Engage in case consultations and regular peer review sessions to elevate the quality of care your clients receive and to continuously develop your professional skills.

• Provide education and resources to patients and their families about mental health, treatment strategies, and available community support services, enabling informed choices.

• Stay abreast of current research and guidelines in mental health care, actively applying new methods and findings to improve client outcomes and your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LICSW at Above & Beyond Therapy, you will primarily work with clients in hospice care, focusing on adults who are facing serious illnesses or end-of-life issues. Your role is pivotal in providing emotional support during challenging times, helping clients navigate grief, loss, and complex family dynamics. You will utilize your experience to support patients in recognizing their emotional needs and developing coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential for this role.

• An active LICSW license in Washington state, with at least two years of clinical experience specifically in psychotherapy, is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
