Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor within our adolescent and young adult outpatient treatment program, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic practices aimed at facilitating recovery and personal development, including:

• Group Therapy Sessions: Facilitate dynamic group therapy sessions that foster connection, understanding, and support among clients, leveraging their shared experiences to encourage healing.

• Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling focused on exploring clients’ thoughts and feelings, collaboratively developing coping strategies and actionable plans tailored to their unique situations.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, priorities, and specific needs, ensuring that they feel empowered and heard throughout the process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will primarily focus on a diverse group of clients aged 18 to 30, offering a vital opportunity to support young adults as they navigate the complexities of their mental health. At our facility, you will encounter a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional difficulties. Your role will be pivotal in not only guiding individuals through their current struggles but also in fostering long-term resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To join our team, you must be a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, and while a higher degree may be preferred, your ability to connect and collaborate with clients is paramount. You should possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in youth and young adult counseling, evidence-based practices, and group therapy facilitation will be advantageous. Familiarity with teletherapy systems and tools is also desired, enabling effective service delivery in a remote setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
