Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including factors like duration and frequency, to create individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific needs of your clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote better understanding and engagement in their recovery.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to address changes in client wellbeing and treatment goals.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to offer integrated care and ensure holistic treatment for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic methods to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations through accurate documentation and record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Grateful Guidance Counseling, you will primarily work with individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will have the opportunity to support marginalized populations, including those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, making a lasting impact on their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary range between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
