Job Description

As a Security Officer Proactive Patrol in San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this role you will support a welcoming environment while bringing teamwork integrity and a people-first approach to every interaction.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants and store staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location including common areas entrances exits sales floors and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe guest and employee activity to help to identify suspicious conditions policy violations and/or potential hazards and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Support asset protection efforts by documenting incidents completing required reports and assisting with crowd management closing procedures and/or other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
