Peace and Purpose Psychotherapy Center is seeking compassionate and experienced Mental Health Counselors to fill full-time positions within our remote outpatient office located in Thornton, Colorado. Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide therapy in the comfort of your own setting while having access to our well-established outpatient office resources. Our typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some degree of flexibility to accommodate patient needs. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates to offer holistic and integrated patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, risks, and strengths, enabling the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize an array of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate effective individual, couple, and group therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, creating a nurturing community for clients grappling with common mental health concerns.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, optimizing treatment efficacy.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients in need during mental health emergencies, demonstrating your expertise and care.
\n
• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and relevant community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards and participate in ongoing case consultations and team meetings.

• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest trends and research in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient demographic is diverse, encompassing individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. You will work closely with clients facing challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use issues, and trauma. This role requires cultural competency and sensitivity to address the unique needs and circumstances of each patient effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or Counseling is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic methodologies, and the ability to implement evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated capability to conduct assessments and craft effective treatment plans customized for individual clients.
\n
• Experience providing therapy for diverse populations, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries, a sense of judgment, and ethical standards in all interactions.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient care and prepare reports.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute meaningfully to a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in outpatient therapy settings or community mental health settings is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with specific therapy approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) can be an asset.

• Evidence of ongoing education or certification in specialized therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
