Medina Behavioral Health Center in Westminster, Colorado, is seeking dedicated full-time Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team. As integral members of our outpatient psychiatric practice, you will engage with patients dealing with a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Your role will focus on delivering personalized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions to inspire positive changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans that reflect individual goals and preferences.

• Deliver various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families, adapting techniques as necessary to meet each client’s unique circumstances.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, addressing common mental health matters while fostering community connection and understanding.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and cohesive care that addresses both psychological and physical well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support to clients experiencing mental health emergencies with adherence to the highest standards of care.

• Educate patients about their specific mental health conditions, treatment options, and relevant community resources to enhance their capacity for informed decision-making.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
