Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial interviews and clinical assessments to establish a thorough understanding of clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on specific client needs and therapeutic approaches.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open dialogue and the exploration of coping strategies.
\n
• Continuously monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address any physical and emotional health complexities.

• Provide follow-up care for clients who have been hospitalized, ensuring a smooth transition back to outpatient care.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery, offering proactive solutions and resources to help clients regain their mental and emotional well-being.

• Engage with family members and primary caregivers to equip them with strategies to support loved ones facing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral disorders. Our population includes individuals from different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, each with unique experiences that require tailored support. Your role will significantly contribute to promoting mental well-being within our community by providing empathetic and professional care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
\n
• In-depth understanding of the impact of substance use and other underlying health conditions on mental health treatment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Experience working within a community health setting and familiarity with best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Strong background in client-centered counseling techniques and recovery-oriented methods.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
