Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify areas of concern.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address client-specific issues, employing evidence-based approaches and culturally competent practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness exercises.

• Monitor client progress regularly, updating treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers when necessary, collaborating with psychiatrists and other specialists to deliver holistic care.

• Engage in crisis intervention when situations arise, utilizing strong de-escalation skills to ensure client safety.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and supervision sessions, contributing insights and learning from fellow colleagues to elevate your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our center focuses on fostering resilience and recovery, empowering clients to overcome barriers that affect their mental health and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
\n
• At least four years of relevant clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families in a therapeutic setting.

• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches that respect cultural diversity.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy in a manner that is inclusive and culturally sensitive.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain professional and composed during challenging client interactions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, vital in establishing effective rapport with a broad spectrum of clients.

• Proficiency in utilizing EHR systems and relevant computer applications to enhance workflow and documentation.

• Strong commitment to upholding ethical standards, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Experience in community health settings or similar environments where collaboration among various health professionals is integral to care.

Your commitment and expertise will be rewarded with a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually.
