Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and behavioral health.

• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans that cater to the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, targeting a range of mental health issues—from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship dynamics.

• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to optimize client care and ensure a comprehensive approach.

• Provide referrals to other services as needed while managing follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.

• Educate and support family members and caregivers to enable them to manage and address mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and emotional trauma. The clients you work with will range from adolescents to adults, each requiring different therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique circumstances. The emphasis on cultural sensitivity ensures that care is personalized and respects the distinct backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure in Colorado as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A strong foundation in psychological principles demonstrated by a successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven ability to develop and oversee treatment plans in a clinical setting.
\n
• Skilled in utilising electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for documentation and case management.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to both clinical documentation and client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a remote counseling role within a telehealth environment.

• Background in integrating physical and emotional health assessments, as well as familiarity with addiction treatment methodologies.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

• Understanding of the impact of pharmacological treatments on mental health, providing informed support to clients receiving medication.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
