Our Client is a people-first multifamily developer building conventional, workforce, and affordable housing, known for its collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach and deep partnerships with local governments and community leaders — offering the chance to make a lasting impact from concept through completion. With deep expertise in the LIHTC space and leadership that has navigated numerous market cycles, our Client is extremely well positioned for continued growth, with 10% portfolio expansion year over year. Since their inception 18 years ago, they have invested in over 50 communities and secured $1B+ in project financing.

With a strong focus on growth markets across the Southeast, we are looking to bring on a Head of Asset Management & Lease-Ups. This is a newly created seat at the table — a direct reflection of sustained momentum: consistent organic growth, expansion into new markets, and sustained revenue increases.

Reporting to the C-Suite, this person will own the full pre-stabilization lifecycle for new LIHTC construction deals, from allocation award through 100% qualified occupancy, stabilization, and conversion to permanent debt.

This is an opportunity for someone who has spent years mastering the craft of operations and is ready to lead strategy, combining financial acumen, investor relations, and marketing and leasing execution.

Scope of Responsibility

• Own the leasing and marketing strategy driving the lease-up from first traffic to full occupancy.
• Own the weekly funnel and move-in pace, directing marketing spend and strategy, and setting rents and concessions that protect the asset's long-term value.
• Ensure compliance , safeguarding the deal's tax credits from award through stabilization, owning every LIHTC, bond, and agency compliance milestone, from set-aside elections to file-level accuracy, so credit delivery is never at risk
• Serve as the financial backbone of every lease-up, ensuring rent roll and ledger accuracy, driving monthly variance and reforecasting, and keeping the lease-up budget and carry runway on track.
• Lead conversion and capital events , building the conversion roadmap, modeling key financial tests in advance, and coordinating the final steps that turn construction financing into permanent capital.
• Manage third-party managers to a clear standard of performance, turning plans into action with named owners and deadlines, and stepping in early with the right support when a lease-up needs it.
• Own stakeholder reporting and team leadership , delivering sharp, regular reporting to investors and lenders while building and leading the asset management team behind the pipeline.
