Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based intervention techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy tailored to the individual’s therapeutic needs.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care and integrated treatment options.

• Respond to crisis situations with timely interventions, supporting clients during acute mental health emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The counselor will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with various mental health diagnoses such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid Illinois state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
