Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health counselor at White Way Mental and Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Your ability to establish trust and rapport will play a critical role in fostering clients' personal journeys toward healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license in the state of New York as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the creation of a safe and trusting therapeutic environment for clients.

• A compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients' experiences, coupled with a commitment to providing empathetic care.

Preferred Experience\n

While the required qualifications set the foundation for success, preferred experience includes 2 or more years in a clinical setting and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience working with a diverse client population, particularly in trauma-informed care, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
