Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg in Marysville, California. Travel temporary assignment beginning 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $1,875 to $1,933 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients using the nursing process, shifting from assessment to planning and evaluation.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses, reporting adverse events promptly.
- Monitor patient status, including vital signs and clinical changes; respond to emergencies and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multi-disciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care; promote safe, quality outcomes.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required at time of hire.
- At least two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- EPIC electronic health record experience required.
- Dysrhythmia competency demonstrated during orientation (for all applicable units).
- BSN preferred.
