Compliance Account Manager

Compensation : $20/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST Overview If you’re someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and becoming the person others can count on, this could be a great opportunity to build your career in employee benefits and compliance. As a Compliance Account Manager, you’ll work directly with benefits brokers and employer clients, helping coordinate important Health & Welfare compliance services and making sure deadlines, documentation, and client needs stay on track. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful professional relationships while developing specialized knowledge in an area of the employee benefits industry that is always evolving. You don’t need to come in knowing every compliance regulation. What matters most is that you’re detail-oriented, curious, organized, and willing to learn. You’ll receive training and ongoing support as you build your knowledge of employee benefits compliance and take on increasing responsibility. This role is a strong fit for someone who likes having ownership over their work, enjoys a variety of day-to-day responsibilities, and takes pride in providing clients with a reliable, high-quality experience. What You’ll Do Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned brokers and clients. Coordinate compliance services from start to finish and keep projects moving toward completion. Review client and plan information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Maintain accurate client and service information across internal systems. Track deadlines, renewals, outstanding information, and service status. Prepare, process, and review Health & Welfare compliance services, including plan documents and nondiscrimination testing. Communicate compliance information clearly and professionally to clients and brokers. Respond to questions and requests, research answers when needed, and follow issues through to resolution. Identify missing, inconsistent, or incomplete information and determine the appropriate next steps. Recognize potential compliance concerns and collaborate with the appropriate team members to address them. Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal teams. Participate in team meetings, training, and departmental projects. Identify opportunities to improve processes and create a better experience for clients and broker partners.
