Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify client needs and create tailored treatment plans that address their unique situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, to deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community, address shared mental health issues, and promote healing.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care that promotes a holistic approach to mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention support. Be prepared to address mental health emergencies promptly and effectively to ensure client safety.

• Educate and inform clients about their mental health conditions and the available resources in their communities.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards, using our electronic health records (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to share knowledge, strategies, and improvements in treatment approaches.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continually enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base encompasses diverse populations with varying backgrounds and experiences. You will work primarily with individuals grappling with moderate to severe mental health issues. This role requires sensitivity and adaptability to cater to clients' unique circumstances, ensuring each individual receives the tailored support they need for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and proficient in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and craft effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to a diverse population.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.

• Strong ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with various technology tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
