ROLE OVERVIEW
NextGen Coding Company is hiring a highly driven Senior SDR / SDR Lead to directly drive new business and help build a scalable outbound sales engine.
The objective is simple: generate qualified meetings, pipeline, and revenue.
We want a hunter who is comfortable picking up the phone, speaking with decision-makers, handling rejection, following up consistently, and figuring out how to generate opportunities.
You will personally cold call, prospect, email, qualify prospects, book meetings, test markets, develop messaging, and determine which outbound strategies produce results.
NextGen will provide paid Apollo access, an auto-dialer, HubSpot, company email, sales materials, prospect data, target markets, and direct access to leadership.
We do not want someone who requires a detailed daily playbook. We will provide goals, resources, context, and support. You will be expected to take ownership, execute, measure results, and continuously improve.
The role begins at approximately 10 hours per week . Strong performers can scale to 20, 30, and ultimately 40 hours per week based on qualified meetings, pipeline, and revenue generated.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling
- Use NextGen's auto-dialer to maximize live conversations
- Prospect founders, CEOs, COOs, CTOs, CIOs, VPs, Directors, hiring managers, operations leaders, technology leaders, and other decision-makers
- Convert live conversations into qualified meetings
- Develop cold-call openings, discovery questions, objection handling, and follow-up strategies
- Build targeted prospect lists using Apollo and other available resources
- Execute multi-touch campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, and voicemail
- Write concise cold emails designed to generate conversations
- Research accounts, decision-makers, buying signals, hiring activity, technology initiatives, and business pain points
- Test industries, personas, offers, messaging, and outreach strategies
- Manage Apollo prospecting, lists, sequences, and campaigns
- Maintain accurate activity, meeting, and pipeline data in HubSpot
- Follow up with conference, trade-show, historical, and company-generated leads
- Re-engage prospects and stalled opportunities
- Track sourced pipeline and revenue
- Analyze conversion rates and improve campaigns
- Identify new outbound opportunities independently
- Document successful campaigns and processes for future SDRs
- Help train and support additional SDRs as the sales organization grows
- Provide leadership with weekly activity, pipeline, and performance reporting
Phone prospecting is a major component of the position. Candidates who primarily want to send automated emails rather than speak with prospects should not apply.
