Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status using standardized evaluation tools and client history.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals, adjusting them as required based on progress.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions, guiding structured conversations that promote effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, and client histories, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Work collectively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, participating in case reviews and interdisciplinary meetings.

• Be readily available for crisis intervention, providing support to clients in acute distress or emergencies to ensure their safety and well-being.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, staying informed about the latest trends and best practices in marriage and family therapy.

• Maintain the highest ethical standards and confidentiality regarding client information in all professional interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse range of clients that includes teenagers, adults, and couples presenting with various mental health concerns. You will utilize your knowledge and skills to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the varying needs of these individuals and facilitate their personal growth and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering individual therapy and couples counseling, with a focus on diverse client needs.

• Strong writing and communication skills, along with proficiency in using electronic health record systems for client documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with experience working in a community health or outpatient setting, particularly with children and/or families, will be given preference. Your ability to complete assessments and treatment plans in a timely and thorough manner is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
