Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for patients and their families, identifying emotional, social, and environmental challenges related to their conditions.

• Formulate, develop, and implement effective treatment plans utilizing appropriate social work interventions tailored to each patient’s unique situation.

• Work collaboratively with the wider health care team, actively involving patients and families in the development and implementation of care plans.

• Facilitate comprehensive discharge planning, coordinating with consulting physicians, insurance providers, and community resources to ensure a smooth transition from inpatient to outpatient care.

• Provide education and counseling to patients and families concerning coping strategies for adaptability to illness and life changes.
\n
• Uphold crisis intervention methods, delivering both brief and long-term therapies through individual, group, and family sessions.

• Act as a resource for other staff, contributing to clinical discussions and enhancing team knowledge about social work practices.
\n
• Engage in community services by providing education and consultation, fostering relationships that support cancer survivors and their families.
\n
• Participate in clinical evaluations for oncology patients, addressing mental health aspects such as anxiety and depression.
\n
• Manage an on-call rotation to handle after-hours patient and family communications, ensuring continuous support.

• Present at educational conferences, sharing expertise in psychosocial oncology, and advancing the knowledge base of the profession.

The LCSW will primarily work with patients at our Detox Center, focusing on individuals recovering from substance use disorders. This role will also involve working with patients facing mental health challenges, particularly those related to oncological conditions. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) and possess a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
