Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate $12.00 to $15.00 per hour We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Pawnbrokers can earn up to 8% commission on transactions, which could average an additional $1.48 per hour on top of your hourly rate. Best working hours – most stores open 9 AM to 6 PM; many stores closed on Sundays. Earned Wage Access program available from the second day of employment. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. As a Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate, you partner with the entire staff to ensure excellent customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. You will greet, engage, and assist customers in processing sales, loans, and other transactions across a variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to build rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open and close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise adequately. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items securely and according to policy. Answers incoming calls following company standards. Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers. Collaborates with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Completes all required training successfully. Performs additional related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification. May be required to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Must be able to work at multiple locations if required. Flexible retail schedule availability, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Commission Plan Information The commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers may earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information is provided during the interview.
