Key Responsibilities\n

• Actively advocate for students by connecting them with valuable community resources, social services, and support networks to facilitate their overall development and success.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, utilizing evidence-based techniques to ensure the safety and stability of students in distress.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as ethical standards of care.

• Educate clients about effective coping mechanisms, self-care strategies, and communication skills, empowering them to effectively manage their mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adolescents within the school system, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral issues such as anxiety, depression, social difficulties, and learning challenges. Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field; a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in clinical social work, particularly focusing on therapeutic interventions.
