This role is predominantly remote, providing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while connecting with clients from the comfort of your home. As a part of our hospice care team, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary group, including medical professionals and family members, to ensure patient-centered care is at the forefront of all practices.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide psychotherapy services tailored to client needs and preferences, both in-person and via telehealth, ensuring effective communication and therapeutic presence.

• Facilitate and lead training workshops for interns and students, ensuring they comply with organizational policies as well as state and federal regulations.
\n
• Maintain accurate, audit-compliant records for each intern, actively monitoring their performance through evaluations and feedback.
\n
• Coordinate with centralized intake and other clinical supervisors to address any caseload concerns, ensuring optimal client support and service delivery.
\n
• Participate in routine audits and quality assurance initiatives focused on documentation compliance and improvement of client records.
\n
• Attend necessary program and agency meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of therapeutic practices and operational standards.
\n
• Complete detailed reports for clinical programs and initiatives as directed by the Director, streamlining communication and data tracking.
\n
• Support crisis intervention by providing clinical consultations via phone and in person, addressing urgent client needs with immediate care.
\n
• Ensure a safe, organized environment at the remote workstation, promptly relaying any maintenance or safety issues for resolution.
\n
• Uphold the agency's commitment to high-quality service delivery by monitoring compliance with internal policies and the implementation of clinical program objectives.
\n
• Manage the intern recruitment, interviewing, onboarding processes, and plan recruitment events to attract qualified candidates who align with our mission.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including adults and families experiencing psychosocial distress related to life-limiting illnesses. You will employ proven psychotherapy techniques to foster healing and emotional support, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for patients while addressing their unique social and emotional needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

• Must hold a current and valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A reliable internet connection is required to maintain effective communication with clients and team members.

• Current residency in the United States is necessary for this role.

Preferred Experience\n
