Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor within our outpatient treatment center, your daily tasks will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead structured and dynamic group therapy sessions that encourage peer-to-peer interaction, enabling young adults to share their experiences, challenges, and coping strategies in a safe environment.

• Conducting Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling that involves detailed exploration of clients’ thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns, crafting personalized coping strategies and guiding clients toward their treatment goals.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to design comprehensive, goal-oriented treatment plans that cater to their unique psychological and emotional needs, regularly assessing and adjusting as necessary.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize evidence-based assessment tools to evaluate clients’ progress, employing both quantitative and qualitative measures to inform ongoing treatment and ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborating with Multidisciplinary Team: Engage with fellow counselors, psychologists, and medical professionals to discuss client cases, share insights, and coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all facets of the client’s health are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, who may be grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our evidenced-based and holistic treatment programs are designed to address the specific needs of our clients within a supportive environment that promotes healing, growth, and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
