Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic strategies that meet the unique needs of each client, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapeutic interventions rooted in evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination and optimal treatment outcomes for clients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation of client interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele that includes children, adolescents, and adults struggling with various mental health concerns. Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families who have limited access to traditional mental health services, ensuring they receive the support they need for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least two years of post-graduate counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.
