As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help support a welcoming, security-related environment across commercial real estate and residential locations. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.98 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue: 07:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thur: 11:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat: 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial and residential properties, including common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations. Monitor access points and observe property conditions to help identify and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Customer service experience is preferred. Guard card is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
