Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will operate in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This facility is designed to facilitate optimal patient interactions, encouraging comfort and recovery. The work setting is strictly onsite, providing ample opportunities for collaboration with other healthcare professionals in a dynamic and engaging environment. The center operates Monday through Friday, providing consistent access for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, including the assessment of medical history and ongoing health concerns.
• Communicate evaluations and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, while actively involving them in goal-setting discussions.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on patient evaluations and clinical practice guidelines, demonstrating proficiency in contemporary rehabilitation techniques.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive care, recognizing and documenting changes in the patient's condition that may necessitate modifications to the treatment plan.
• Oversee discharge planning and continuity of care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient treatment activities, including progress notes and discharge evaluations.
• Manage time effectively to meet productivity targets while maintaining an accurate daily schedule and attending all mandatory meetings punctually.
• Participate in marketing activities that promote our services and enhance awareness within the community, contributing to the overall resilience and reputation of our department.
• Assist in meeting departmental goals by collaborating with colleagues, adhering to regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of continual improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
