Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Emmanuel Counseling Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, histories, and mental health struggles, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other modalities appropriate for client goals.

• Facilitating virtual therapy sessions, maintaining a supportive and non-judgmental environment that encourages open communication and trust.

• Collaborating with other mental health professionals within our organization to create integrated treatment plans and shared goals for clients.

• Staying informed on emerging trends, research findings, and advancements in marriage and family therapy to enhance your practice and client outcomes.

• Adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including couples navigating relationship challenges, individuals seeking personal growth, and families addressing systemic issues. Our patients come from various backgrounds, and as an LMFT, your understanding of cultural competency will be vital in delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active independent licensure in Oregon as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
