Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance use history and mental health status, tailoring approaches to each individual's needs.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that not only focus on addiction but also address co-occurring mental health issues for a comprehensive approach to care.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.

• Engage in active collaboration with fellow treatment team members to ensure the continuity of care and the integration of services.

• Educate and involve clients’ families in the recovery process, emphasizing the importance of a supportive home environment in sustained recovery.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications\n

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices related to addiction treatment and mental health counseling.

• Exceptional communication skills, fostering collaboration with team members and clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While specialized training in addiction counseling is required, experience in co-occurring disorders will be considered a significant advantage. Prior experience working in a community health setting, particularly with diverse populations, is also highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 yearly, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
