Work Environment\n

This is a remote position that offers flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a high degree of collaboration with fellow mental health professionals. The typical work schedule is from 9 AM to 4 PM, allowing for structured yet adaptable hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring that all interventions align with each individual’s unique needs and circumstances.

• Engage in the formulation of both pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support strategies, all while adhering to regulatory professional standards.

• Complete documentation and progress notes in a timely manner using our electronic health record system, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality of care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools when required, collaborating with internal clinical teams to implement strategies that drive positive patient outcomes.

• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the overall quality and recognition of services provided by the organization.

• Serve as a liaison between clients and external service systems, including state agencies and community partners, to optimize care delivery and enhance community presence.

• Facilitate open communication channels among interdisciplinary teams, aiding in the fulfillment of contract standards while promoting a supportive community environment.

• Network with local, state, federal, and private agencies to identify opportunities for partnerships, resource sharing, and potential funding avenues to sustain and expand services.

• Pursue ongoing professional development by attending relevant workshops, conferences, and representing the organization at statewide meetings and committees.

• Promote and embody the agency's mission, core values, and philosophy throughout all interactions and responsibilities.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to team growth and adaptability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population that includes individuals struggling with mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients requiring support due to developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing their quality of life and reintegration into the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Possession of an independent LMHC license granted by the state board of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
